Every year Sunrise is committed to sending 14 lucky Year 12 students from the Gisborne-Tairawhiti region to attend a 21 day Outward Bound course in the Marlborough Sounds.

In May the second watch of 14 local Year 12 students spent two weeks at the life changing Outward Bound course with the help of Sunrise donors.
EC health shuttle ready to go
The first St John health shuttle on the East Coast, was launched last week with the help of a grant from Sunrise. The vital community service will provide safe and reliable access to healthcare services for Coast residents.
