Grant Criteria: 

Assistance by way of grants in respect of physical or mental disability for the following:

• Grants are available for persons in the Gisborne East Coast Wairoa areas who are physically and/or mentally disabled, to assist with disabilities, to help overcome disabilities and towards care and management of disabilities. 
• Grants are available for research (medical, social, and other) into physical and mental disability. 
• Grants are available for education of the public in respect of physical and mental disability and the needs and aspirations of those who suffer. 

 Supporting Documents: 

• Quotes should be supplied for all applications for equipment purchases. If possible, a letter from a medical practitioner should be provided in support of an individual's application.
• All applying Organisations must include proof of bank account for payment purposes. 

This funding round will open on Monday 15 February 2027 and will close Monday 15 March 2027.

All applications will be considered by the Trust Grants Committee in late March 2027. You will be notified of the decision of the Grants Committee prior to 28 April 2027.
