St John Fund established in memory of past volunteers
A mystery benefactor has stepped forward to launch a new fund it is hoped will secure the future for our local branch of St John.

Catherine Chrisp, Mary-Jane Richmond and Elaine Clark all signed up for Sunrise Workplace Giving in 2017 whilst working for The Gisborne Herald, and since then their combined donations have totalled over $5,580.

Charity bull gift for Ngatapa Club fund
The Ngatapa Rugby and Associated Sports Club fund has received a significant boost thanks to the generous donation of a bull from Tangihau Angus that raised $19,000.
Leaving a lasting legacy
It is fitting that Gisborne man Andrew Corson is finalising his will, bequeathing almost his entire estate to The Sunrise Foundation as we celebrate Wills Month this September.

Together the board and staff of Sunrise have donated over $360,000. We’re passionate about Sunrise and we believe in what we are doing, we put our money where our mouth is.
Bayleys back Sunrise again
Bayleys Gisborne have chosen to back Sunrise with their 2021 winter initiative ‘Move for Good’. If you sell with Bayleys this July and August they will support Sunrise with a donation for each sale.
