Christmas surprise for Alzheimer's Gisborne-Tairāwhiti

The good folks at Gisborne Craigs Investment Partners have done it again!
Tracy Robinson, Alzheimer’s Gisborne-Tairāwhiti Manager, (right) was delighted when Rob Dymock, Sunrise Foundation Chair, (left) shared the news that Craigs Investment Partners Gisborne had donated $2500 to their endowment fund.

Craigs selected one of the special interest funds at Sunrise to support with a generous donation in lieu of Christmas gifts to their clients.

Rob Dymock, Sunrise Foundation Chair says Alzheimer’s Gisborne-Tairāwhiti were selected by our local Craigs branch as the deserved recipient. Alzheimer’s provide support in a multitude of ways to many vulnerable members in our community and their families who rely on them.

“With the constant pressure to raise additional operational funds so they can provide their essential services, it was particularly appreciated that Craigs nominated them,” says Rob. “And of course, thank you to Craigs. It’s wonderful to see corporates being thoughtful about how they can support their own communities.”

Tracy Robinson, Alzheimer’s Gisborne-Tairāwhiti Manager was rapt when hearing of the donation. With one in four people touched by dementia, whether it be a family member or perhaps a colleague, Tracy says people can’t keep pretending it isn’t a big issue.

“Receiving this financial boost is wonderful. As our fund grows, we’ll be able to support more people who need us. With so many other deserving groups who have funds with Sunrise facing similar challenges, we’re honoured Craigs chose us,” says Tracey.
