Tourism Eastland Society Incorporated officially closed its doors in 2024, after four decades of dedicated efforts in promoting tourism within the region. As a parting gift to the community, they established a fund with Sunrise to support tourism growth and development for future generations.
The fund includes an annual scholarship grant to support a senior tourism student from one of the regions local high schools and will also promote tourism initiatives and development.
Donations to this fund are encouraged and will actively support local tourism and future industry leaders.
