Coates team give up a cup of coffee a week for our community

Since joining Sunrise’s workplace giving scheme in February 2017 the fabulous team at Coates & Associates have donated over $11,000
Since joining Sunrise’s workplace giving scheme in February 2017 the fabulous team at Coates & Associates have donated over $11,000.
Coates partners Robyn Tomlinson and Mitchell McFarlane championed workplace giving for their workplace and set it up through their payroll system so anyone working there can automatically donate to Sunrise every pay day. Each person gives what they can, some as little as $5 a week, or a cup of coffee.
They support a wide variety of causes, with each person choosing which fund they would like their regular donations to go towards, including the Sunrise General Fund, Wainui Surf Lifesaving Club, Gisborne SPCA, Cancer Society Gisborne East Coast, Swim for Life Tairāwhiti, Disability and Gisborne Women’s Refuge funds.
A big heartfelt thank you to the team at Coates for their ongoing support of our community through their donations to Sunrise and for showing that giving a little often really does make a difference.
