Company Directors, James Blackburne, Rachael Spriggs and Dan King say that sponsoring Sunrise is a wonderful way to be able to give back to the community.

“By placing our sponsorship with Sunrise we’re able to support a wide area of our community, rather than just one cause,” says Rachael.

Named after the physical space that their offices occupy, Architects 44 is the largest and most diverse architecture practice in Tairāwhiti. With many exciting projects on the go, Dan says they are always looking for experienced architects or graduates to join their team.

Having seen firsthand how Sunrise operates, Rachael says they know what a positive difference Sunrise is making to the community. Glenda Stokes, Sunrise executive officer was based out of the Architects 44 offices for 2.5 years, before relocating to a larger office space at BDO last year and is looking forward to the partnership.

“It’s wonderful having Architects 44 joining us as Gold sponsors. We really appreciate their support in helping us make Tairāwhiti a better place for future generations,” says Glenda.

Being a part of the community and able to give back is what appealed to James.  “We like that Sunrise is perpetual and that it supports local. We get hit up by a lot of one-off causes, and of course, we can’t support them all. Sunrise has a lot of reach within the community.”

Thank you for your support Architects 44 and for helping us make a difference in the community that we all love.
