Calling friends of our rescue helicopter

Noel Leeming Gisborne (NLG) are helping Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter with a special friends and family deal which will raise funds for the Eastland Helicopter Rescue Trust.

Friends and family of our local rescue helicopter will get preferential pricing when they purchase anything in the Gisborne store in the two weeks 14 June to 27 June 2021 and NLG will also donate 2.5% of the purchase price to EHRT’s fund.

Patrick Willock, EHRT chair, says “many people don’t realise how hard it is to raise the money we need to keep our helicopter in the air”.

“We have a small population of only 47,000 and yet their generosity is phenomenal. We appreciate all they give to help keep us flying.”

“It’s wonderful that our supporters can take advantage of the friends and family deal, while at the same time helping to raise money for our fund at Sunrise, and we thank NLG for choosing our charity.”

John Sinclair, NLG acting manager, says his team are delighted to be helping raise money for Eastland’s rescue helicopter.
