BDO Gisborne’s generous Christmas giving

BDO Gisborne staff members have donated $1180 to Sunrise in a generous show of Christmas giving.
Kris Karauria, BDO Chief Operating Officer, says the team at BDO wanted to pay it forward and thought a donation to Sunrise was the perfect way to do that.
“Sunrise has a long-term vision of supporting those in need in our community and with the endowment model they operate it means that our donations will go on paying it forward to our community forever.”
Kylie Potae, BDO partner, says that each team member chose which fund they would like to support.
“Sunrise has 44 funds which support a wide range of charitable causes throughout Tairawhiti-Gisborne, which means that each and every person can support a local cause that is dear to them.”
We would like to thank BDO and their team for the donation and, as with every donation to Sunrise, it will be invested forever, with the interest being granted back to charities in our district every year, forever.
