TURANGA Health has become the first company in Gisborne to join a workplace giving scheme that allows staff to donate directly to a foundation aimed at helping local charities and community organisations.

The Sunrise Foundation was launched in October last year by Warehouse founder Sir Stephen Tindall, and foundation executive officer Glenda Stokes was delighted Turanga Health had introduced the workplace giving scheme.

“Many organisations participate in philanthropic works, and workplace giving is a fantastic way for employers to help their employees give back to our local community,” she said.

It has been a pleasure to work with Turanga Health to set up regular giving via their payroll system.
